The Mill of Tartay, built in 1874, is an old flour mill.
Its millstone was driven by the action of water from an irrigation canal for the waters of the Durance.
Close to Avignon, the Moulin de Tartay has been transformed into gîtes by Sandrine and Ludovic
who acquired it in 2016.
A 115 m2 house, two 60 m2 gîtes and a 45 m2 gîte are available for
available to guests.
Renovated with the greatest respect for Provencal traditions,
and added their own personal touch.
The place has become a haven of greenery and tranquility,
for those in search of authenticity.
Ideal for families (4 to 14 people in several units),
it remains a place where each resident will find his or her own balance.
All units are air-conditioned.
Communal areas reserved exclusively for estate guests:
heated swimming pool secured by wrought-iron gates, brazier, garden furniture,
children's playground (swing set, trampoline, sandbox), garden gondola, ping-pong table,
basketball hoop, soccer pitch, boules court and beach volleyball court,
A carport for two vehicles and free parking on the estate.
Bicycles available for touring the region.
At the end of 2023, we made some improvements for the comfort of our tenants on the estate with an energy and ecological transition by installing solar panels to reduce our carbon footprint on our environment.
By the end of 2024, we are setting up an ecological microstation on the estate to continue to improve our ecological transition.

It features a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen.
The dining room in front of the Moulin features an open kitchen, a large breakfast table
table for lunch and a library with information on local and regional life.
The living room features a sofa and a wood-burning fireplace,
a small laundry room with a tumble dryer.
On the night side, two bedrooms with new bedding since 2022:
one large bedroom with double bed, large wardrobe, television,
the second bedroom with two separate beds and a large wardrobe.
The bathroom has a washbasin and walk-in shower, and a separate toilet.

"Possibility of privatizing several units at the same time for large families".
The garden features garden furniture, an unsupervised 7 x 3 x 1.50 m heated swimming pool (open from April to September) protected by a wrought-iron fence and a C.E.-standard protective curtain. (a liability waiver will be requested from each customer for each stay) open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for safety reasons, a swing in the form of a gantry under the responsibility of parents (open from April to October), a trampoline limited to one person and weighing less than 90 KG (open from April to October),
a garden basket limited to 90 KG with cushions.
The garden is shared only with tenants of the Moulin de Tartay estate.
The 12,000 M2 grounds are enclosed and secure.
The site is monitored by outdoor cameras.
A car recharging station is available (extra charge).
All accommodation is non-smoking.
Pets are not allowed.
A dog is on site, as are chickens, roosters and geese.
No parties or receptions on the estate.
No noise after 10 p.m.

"SPA"
"Moulin de Tartay" is an old outbuilding (a glass roof) that we have renovated to complement our activities on the estate (open from October to April).
It is exclusively reserved for guests staying on site.
Prohibited for children under 10 years old.
A shower, mandatory before the session, is available in the relaxation area.
The module, "JACUZZI", is private, so please reserve your time the day before,
The session costs €10 for 1 person for 1 hour of relaxation, with a place to rest and enjoy a cup of tea.

The JACUZZI is a little marvel of ergonomics with its
two ultra-comfortable reclining benches with well-inclined backrests and raised

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse. Il faisait environ 36 degrés Celsius tous les jours, mais c'est justement pour cela que la piscine était fantastique. La climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement et était très silencieuse. L'appartement était charmant, propre et meublé avec goût, et les lits étaient confortables. Un lave-linge et un lave-vaisselle étaient à disposition. La terrasse n'était pas directement attenante à l'appartement ; il fallait descendre dans la cour, mais chaque appartement disposait même de son propre réfrigérateur. Le domaine était bien entretenu et Sandrine et Ludovic étaient toujours joignables par WhatsApp si nous avions des questions. En guise de cadeau de bienvenue, nous avons trouvé un grand panier garni de fruits et légumes locaux, ainsi que du pain frais et des œufs de leurs propres poules. Il y avait également de la tapenade d'olives maison et une bouteille de vin au réfrigérateur. Nous étions donc parfaitement équipés dès notre arrivée. Un service exceptionnel ! Merci encore. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit ; il est idéal pour les familles avec enfants et offre beaucoup d'espace. Cependant, une voiture est indispensable, car la propriété n'est pas desservie par les transports en commun. C'est l'endroit idéal pour ceux qui recherchent le calme et la tranquillité, loin du tourisme de masse. Avignon est à 10 minutes en voiture. Un grand merci pour tout !

Le domaine est situé à l'écart, ce qui garantit un séjour paisible (on n'entend pas la proximité de l'aéroport et de la gare), tout en étant idéalement situé pour découvrir les nombreux trésors cachés de la Provence. L'appartement était spacieux, doté de tout le confort moderne et impeccablement entretenu. Il comprenait une cuisine très bien équipée, de bons lits, une grande cabine de douche avec pommeau effet pluie, et la possibilité d'utiliser le lave-linge et les étendoirs à linge communs à l'extérieur. La climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement et a été un atout majeur pendant la canicule. Comme nous avons fait de nombreuses excursions, nous n'avons pas beaucoup profité de notre terrasse privative. Malgré l'éloignement de l'appartement, nous avons bénéficié de tout le confort nécessaire : un réfrigérateur séparé, des ustensiles de cuisine séparés, un évier avec eau courante… À notre arrivée, nous avons également trouvé des œufs frais, une corbeille de fruits et légumes bien garnie, et de nombreuses autres petites attentions. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix ! Conseil : Pensez à emporter des serviettes de toilette supplémentaires en plus de vos serviettes de piscine. Bien que ces articles soient fournis, dans notre cas, compte tenu des températures et des douches fréquentes, ils étaient insuffisants. Le linge de lit et de cuisine était en quantité suffisante.

Nous venons de terminer notre séjour au Moulin de Tartay et en ressortons ravis.
Les hôtes, Sandrine et Ludovic sont adorables, et ont fait de leur maison un véritable lieu d’accueil.
En vacances en famille avec un bébé de 18 mois, toutes les activités et équipements étaient disponibles (piscine, trampoline, ballons, tir à l’arc,…), permettant un séjour reposant!
La possibilité d’aller nourrir les oies et poules chaque jour a émerveillé notre fils, pour le plus grand bonheur des parents.
Les gros plus : terrasse privative avec barbecue qui nous a permis de passer tous nos dîners, logement climatisé, propreté et équipements du logement +++ (vaisselle, électroménager,… tout y est au delà de ce qui peut être attendu pour un séjour en vacances!). Le panier d’accueil est un vrai régal après une journée de route, on se sent attendus et bien accueillis.
Les conseils sur les visites de la région sont donnés en fonction des goûts et par des connaisseurs de bons plans.
Merci à vous et votre famille pour l’accueil, et la beauté du lieu entretenu avec soin
dans lequel nous nous sentons bien du début à la fin du séjour.
